Located on five acres of tall pines with some of the best bird and critter watching in the state, Stoneman Lake Lodge, in addition to six rooms with private baths and a large cabin, has a number of spacious social areas and a full service kitchen that serves both breakfast and dinners. The Great Hall is heated by a massive stone fireplace and looks out onto a large deck with lake and forest views. Breakfast and dinners can be enjoyed at your choice of the dining room, great room or deck, each featuring views of Arizona’s only natural, spring-fed lake. The lodge also provides a library and additional porches, picnic and sitting areas. Miles and miles of national forest lands await your exploration.

We are an environmentally sensitive operation with a goal of impacting our pristine surroundings as minimally as possible. We are a non-smoking facility and utilize minimum exterior lighting. Stoneman Lake Lodge is powered by the sun and wind. We feature healthy foods, non-toxic cleaning chemicals and build with natural materials.

Since the 1800s, when Stoneman Lake Lodge was the Neil/Drumm homestead (newspapers from the late 1800s were found insulating the walls of the dining room), this has been a family endeavor. Throughout the century, it has been a recreational and outdoor enjoyment center. The Westlake-Haenny family purchased the property in 2002 and has renovated the main lodge and surrounding buildings into a private bed & breakfast inn. Adding to its charm, the lodge features work of various artists to be enjoyed during your stay that can also be purchased. Every third Saturday of the month the lodge features an art show where you can meet the artists and enjoy other local talent performing music and theater. See our events page for more information.

The lodge serves dinner on a reservations only basis Thursday through Sunday. With advance notice, we offer catering for large groups. Lunch is served Saturdays and Sundays and is chef’s choice, typically soup, salad and sandwiches. See Cuisine for the current months fare and pricing.

Our foods are free from pesticides, hormones, nitrates and antibiotics, and are local grown and organic whenever possible. Our cuisine ranges from down-home country to ethnic fare and gourmet cuisine. ALSO, there is a wealth of food choices in nearby Sedona, Camp Verde and Munds Park.
